♥ NEW MUSIC FROM PATD! Ahhhhhhh! (also, album release date and TOUR DATES AND A VIDEO and YAY!) (also, apparently there exists a mashup of PatD's Miss Jackson & FOB's My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark, but I've only heard about it, not heard it)
♥ Also, new music this week from The Used!
♥ My baby brother got married!
♥ The rain has stopped! *crosses fingers* We've had three whole days of sunshine and heat! It's great, even if I can't leave the house without my head wanting to explode, lol.
♥ Making my life right now: Grinding It Out In The Corner: Another Hockey Rare Pairs Fest
♥ Baby Brielle is ADORABLE and I LOVE HER already.
♥ There is talk of changing the team name for the Salem Red Sox to something other than Red Sox, for a lot of reasons but mainly because WE DON'T WANT TO BE THE RED SOX. I will totally be more likely to buy a new hoodie or something if it doesn't say Red Sox, because ugh Boston.
♥ I never remember to put a link on here when I post something on AO3, so: burn as brightly as we can - hockey RPF, Jeff Skinner/Eric Staal - AU where Eric Staal is a firefighter, Jeff Skinner is a college student, and they're working together for a charity hockey game. ♥ Fic I read this week and greatly enjoyed: The Strength of the Wolf Is the Pack by Dira Sudis (dsudis) - Teen Wolf/Generation Kill crossover where Rudy is Erica's uncle, and it's SO GREAT.
♥ related to that fic rec, Ronnie watched a couple episodes of Teen Wolf with one of his friends, which led to us marathoning the first couple seasons to get caught up to the current season/episode. Which obviously led to me wanting ALL THE FIC - super big thanks toshutyourface for being able to hook me up. This week Ronnie is marathoning My Little Pony. Yay summer vacation?
not-hearts My brother's dog Daisy (big beautiful boxer lab mix, part of the family, almost six years old, I know yall have seen pics) has been diagnosed with lung cancer and given two to three weeks to live. :( The kids are all ridiculously upset, and my nephew Joseph refuses to talk to his stepmomma (Kristina) because he says it's her fault for not taking Daisy to the doctor for checkups like you do with people. :(
