(no subject)

I did NOT get my butt up and go downtown this morning like I was supposed to. When I went to bed last night, I had the beginnings of a migraine and when I woke up this morning it was horrible. And then I managed to work up a full fledged panic attack and couldn't get out of bed for a while. On the plus side, our registrations were all already paid for, and my cousins were down there to represent us, along with a bunch of other crazy brave souls who weren't afraid of the cold. It was less than 20* this morning. And I heard that more than 15000 people had registered for this year's Drumstick Dash, and that the money raised from the event is enough to cover the 2014 food budget for the rescue mission.

Despite the rocky start, the day went well. Mostly. But we'll focus on the good parts, including getting to see new sonogram pics of Jamie & Tim's baby, who is a boy and who will be named Gabriel Thomas and who the drs are now saying is fine. And lots of yummy food. And I scored a few deals on amazon, plus Kristina and I ended up going out to Walmart to get Haley a digital camera and also got several other deals for the kids.

Tomorrow we're going bowling for Haley's birthday, having second Thanksgiving with my dad, and going to see Goonies at the midnight movies. Saturday is Haley's actual birthday party and then I'm supposed to go out with cousin!Amy. Sunday is third Thanksgiving, lol. I cannot believe Haley will be 13 on Saturday. And Ronnie will be 13 a week from today. Ugh, kids, quit growing up!

Oh! And mom got an awesome bonus at work, so she's getting the boys' big Santa gifts and also paying for their birthday party (we're gonna do a combined party over winter break) so that means I can take the kids (Ronnie, Davey, & Haley) to a Carolina Hurricanes game for a bday/Christmas present.
