1. Baby is here! Kellan Penn Logue was born at 4:10 this afternoon, and momma and baby are both doing good! I'm not planning on going to see them until tomorrow but I am super excited about it!
2. Larkin had another seizure this afternoon. Kristina is at the hospital with her waiting on more tests. (My mom is with them, and I assume my brother is there too, by now.) I wish the doctors could figure out why she keeps having seizures. They're seemingly random, and since she's had a virus every time she's had one, they could technically be febrile convulsions, but those generally only happen once or twice. This makes FIVE for her. :(
3. Yesterday was report card day, and I went to bed early, so I woke up this morning to messages from eight different kids, who I'm not even related to, telling me about their report cards. Um, high five for you guys? Middle school kids are so weird.
4. I helped out at the school for Red Ribbon Week last week, and I don't know what's worse: the kids who tell me they can't accept my candy because they didn't/can't/won't sign the pledge to stay away from drugs, or the kids who took my candy even though I know they're part of the crowd that smokes weed at the skate park after school. Also, the main PTSA mom in charge of Red Ribbon Week was SO UPSET because she found out after the fact that there were kids crushing up and snorting the smarties candies. Kids, man. Idek.
5. I read an article a while back that said kids need 10 to 14 hugs a day. I read it out loud, so Davey took that and ran with it, and is insistent on getting his 14 hugs. Which is kinda the opposite of most kids that age, but whatever. My kid is a strange one.
