I totally fail, seriously. I was talking to a couple people on here last night & went to read books to the boys. I apparently fell asleep b/c the next thing I know it's 6am. *is an idiot*
Ronnie's class is starting to work on combined sounds. They're learning the "th" sound this week and Ronnie's homework was to find things around the house that start with "th" and to write three of them on the back of his homework sheet. Do you know how hard it is to find things that start with "th"? I was like... uh, thing and thumb and thigh... We did find three though, finally. Theresa (my mom), thermometer (which ronnie can't pronounce -- he tries and then he's like "that thing on the porch like a clock that tells how warm it is), and thunderbird (jeff's car). Next week is "ch" and after that is "wh". I think I better start looking for things now.
I have a PTA meeting tomorrow night and a volunteer meeting on Thursday night (the school's spring carnival is May 5th), plus Friday is someone's birthday at work and it's somehow become my responsibility to collect money for a gift, go buy said gift and a card, and bake cupcakes or other goodies. I'm sure I'm also going to end up working OT again this week. Nancy wanted me to stay today, but tonight was Harley's last basketball game so I had to get home and get us all fed so we could get there on time.
And oh shit I was supposed to record Heroes. Oops. I'm sure I can download the episode later, right? Also, I was supposed to be recording Prison Break for like the last four weeks. I've got such a good memory sometimes. *fails at RL friendships too*
One of the parent/child things that got sent home has a game on it called HaHa:
Person #1 lays on the floor. Person #2 lays on the floor with his head on person #1's stomach. Person #3 lays with his head on #2's stomach, and so on. Person #1 starts by saying "ha", person #2 says "ha ha", #3 says "ha ha ha", and so on. "Everyone ends up laughing hysterically because the act of saying "ha" makes your belly and the person's head resting on it bounce. A very funny sensation that gets everyone giggling." WTF? I dunno, it kinda amuses me.
