My reactions to tonight's shows:
So, Hawkins really is a good guy!! Provided he was telling the truth, of course, but I sooo want to believe that he was. Also? I was very excited by Hawkins undoing the cuffs with the paperclip. *g* Mimi talking to the damn chicken. OMG, I don't think I've laughed so hard in a while. But she finally did kill it, so I'm kinda proud of her. And the last scene w/ her and Bonnie was really sweet. Um, what else was in this episode. Oh! Emily! I guess she kinda needs something to fill the void that was left by Roger being exiled, and I've been wondering if anyone would ever try to revive the schools. But I think that maybe what they need is to get some of the teachers together and form a new curriculum, something probably reminiscent of how things went in one-room schoolhouses back in the day. B/c the younger kids still need to learn the basics, like reading and writing and math, and the older kids could benefit from learning something useful. Like... I dunno what exactly, but some type of routine and education wouldn't be that bad of an idea. I can't wait for next week. Although I'm really nervous about what's going on in Newburn and what's happened to our fellow Jericho-ians.
I cried. I love how Garret & Bug & Nigel were all so upset about the surgery. Nigel and the pet thing, the need to do something. He's so sweet. And I think it was kinda appropriate that the fish that he ended up bringing to the hospital (the only one that lived) is the fighting fish. I hate that everyone was giving Woody flak for not being at the hospital, but he was dealing with it the way he had to, by distraction & thowing himself into work, but that doesn't mean he wasn't worried about Jordan. And the end, when Garret and Nigel and Bug were all asleep in Jordan's hospital room and Woody was sitting there in the chair... that's when I cried. And then she woke up and doesn't seem to recognize Woody, so we'll see what next week brings...
