Boo, babies. Hope yall are doing well!
My weekend was cram-packed full of stuff, but we had a GREAT time. I have pics that I want to post, but I'm too lazy to go downstairs so I'll do it tomorrow. Also? Ronnie had his first tball game today, and he was the first one at bat, and therefore the first one to cross home plate. Of course, in tball they don't count strikes or outs or runs, but still. I was quite proud.
My work schedule this week is gonna be crazy. Seriously, I think I'm working different hours everyday, and I actually have one of those jobs that's supposed to be 8 to 4:30 Monday through Friday. Oh well.
I did decide what to write for Sam's birthday (which is May 2nd, and
wendy has put out a call for fic, in case you weren't aware). Now, if I could find time to sit at the computer and type. I need a laptop so I can sit out in the front yard with it. Harley spent the weekend reading H/D fic online. And the Naked Quidditch Match fic, b/c it's one of my favorites.
I, on the other hand, was reading something else entirely. Saturday night I was drinking & was chatting (if you can call it that -- I was just kinda observing and dropping in a random, completely nonsensical comment every now and then) with some of my favoritest peoples and talking to Z on the phone for a really long time and reading popslash. I blame
phaballa, obviously, b/c she's way evil and it's her recs that I was reading, and I kinda love them and I think I'm hooked. I spent all evening yesterday reading popslash, and when I finished betaing tonight, my first thought was that
phaballa has plenty more recs for me to work my way through. Even though there's soooo much more else that I could be or should be doing.
Between jumping on the trampoline with the kids Saturday and walking the trails (and off the trails) at Roaring Run yesterday (my baby brother was there, and he and I were reliving our childhood, I think, and trying to teach my kids bad things and scare my mom by climbing on the sides of the waterfalls and rocks, and crossing the creek on trees instead of the bridges), my whole body just kinda aches and it's not fun, so I'm gonna lay here in the floor in front of the computer andread more popslash find some thing to read. I'm kinda in the mood for some H/D, or quite possibly some Monaboyd. Hmmm...
