(no subject)

We don't have central air in our house. We have two window units, one in the upstairs hallway and one in the computer room downstairs. (okay, there's one in Mom & Jeff's bedroom too but that doesn't count b/c they keep their door closed all day) It's miserably hot in here. All I wanna do is sit in here in front of the A/C and take a nap. But Harley's on her way home (yay! I missed my sister!) and I'm sure she's gonna want the computer when she gets here. I really wanna go to the ballgame tonight but I don't know if I can stand the heat. Maybe we'll go late, b/c by the third inning or so, the seats I like to sit in are in the shade. Oh, but back to our house, it's so horrible at night that I cannot sleep and I swear I'd be willingly to do something drastic for a weekend in a king sized bed with nice cool sheets in a bedroom with the A/C turned down to like 60. I really really really need a place for me and the boys.

My Momma Crystal's momma is in the hospital. She's actually been in there since the weekend when she had a heart attack, and she had another one last night and Crystal's very upset and it makes me upset and worried and kinda stressed for her. Her husband is in GA training for a new job, but luckily he's coming home for the weekend and should be here sometime this evening so I'm hoping that'll help. I don't think she's slept in the past two or three days, between taking care of her dad and trading shifts with her sisters to sit with her mom. :(

I gotta work tomorrow at 7 in the fucking morning. On a Saturday!! WTH? I was really grumpy this morning b/c I had to go in that early & I know tomorrow is going to be worse. I know it's only an hour earlier than my normal start time, but still. It's the principle of the matter. Me and mornings are NOT FRIENDS. But I do get to bring my ipod in tomorrow. If I have to drag my ass in there that early on my weekend, I'm gonna force everyone to listen to my music.

I want some pie. Lemon meringue. Yum. (even though I don't thing that's spelled right) I wonder if I can con my mom into making me one.

I'm gonna go lay in front of the fan and watch cartoons with the boys. Happy weekend everyone!

thank you so so much! *hugs* (and I think your virtual ice may have worked! It's cooled off a good 20 degrees or so & there's a nice breeze & I might be able to sleep tonight!)
