There is a lot I've been wanting to talk about, but I don't want to dump it all at once, so I decided I'm going to try to balance out the good with the bad and do several posts over the next week or so.
Today's happy: BABIES!!!!
I am so excited about Sami! She is so so adorable! I love babies. *happy sighs*
Beside my real life baby news, I'm completely, totally excited about GEE AND LINDSEY expecting a baby! AWWWWWW!! With baby Bronx Mowgli (okay, the name is really starting to grow on me) and Disashi's expected little one, it's like bandom is being invaded by babies; idk if I can handle the cute! I am ridiculously happy for all of them.
So, my not-so-happy for today. I have a family of really close friends (I actually consider them to be family and not just friends): Shannon is my age & has two kids (Storm and Bree); Pam is a few years younger and used to babysit my kids and is the most awesome kid-friendly person ever and has a fantastic husband (Jay) and has encountered all sorts of difficulties trying to conceive. Then there's Jo. Like Shannon & I tell Mom all the time, we always LOVE Jo, but we don't actually LIKE her. She's got a 4yo named Holden who is so loveable and sweet. However, she spends most of her time running around with random men and being a whore instead of taking care of him, even though she gets social service benefits for him. Jo's ex-husband is Jay's cousin and so he lives with Pam and Jay (and Jay's brother Joe). Holden spends 90% of his time there, and a good majority of that time he's with Pam b/c she keeps him while James works. James met some girl over the internet and is planning on moving to Maine with her the day after Christmas. Then he's going to come back in March and get Holden and take him up there until Jo "gets on her feet". Which will be NEVER. Pam and I were talking about it the other day and it makes me SO SAD! :( I don't want Holden to be that far away! Mom and Pam talked about maybe Pam and Jay should just file for custody of Holden (James really wouldn't mind, which is utterly ridiculous) but Pam's not sure. But it's very sad making, especially having to think about it during the holidays.
Happy Monday, lovies!! <3
