I have a spider bite on my leg. It's gross and red and purple and if you look close you can see two little fang marks. YUCK! Stupid spiders.

Also, I don't have a copy of Shadow Magic in my hands??? WHY NOT??? GIMME!!!! (tracking shows estimated delivery tomorrow. I want my Jaida & Dani story today!!)

I've caught random bits of fandom, so I have to say, this picture? Oh, JWalk. I kinda really love his hair. Also, LOOK HOW BIG MARLEY IS!!!

I kinda wish these were on a US site so I could buy them for Harley.

I still need someone to go to the Cobra concert on 8/23, but in the meantime... I think we're going to Virginia Beach on August 15, if anyone wants to meet me there. I hate the fucking beach, so I'd love to have someone come distract me. Also, I'm trying to plan a weekend for me and the boys Great Wolf Lodge in Williamsburg. (Waterpark + Magiquest! You know you totally wanna be there!) Anyone interested? (Yes, I do realize I need Real Life friends. But it's SO HARD to deal with people, lol.)

What else? Um, today wasn't so bad at work. I sat with someone different who was actually really nice, and McKenzie was off today so there wasn't a lot of bullshit surrounding him. Also, I really hate people that will talk nice to someone and pretend to be friendly or whatever and then turn around and make fun of them. It's so junior high and so fucking STUPID. I still can't get over the "we don't have many people of the rainbow persuasion here" comment. What the fuck ever.

I have always been ridiculously terrified of spiders (what with all-seeing eyes and accompanying bravado). If I ever saw actual "fang marks" on my body, I think I would have a heart attack.

Shadow Magic is OUT?!??? I only became vaguely aware that it was even close to being out very recently! WHY is no one on my flist flailing about this besides you? THANK YOU for the heads up, I'm going to go buy my copy! Hal and Royston and Thom and Rook, YAY!!!!!!!!! :D

I just looked up some reviews and... it's not about Hal and Royston and Thom and Rook? I can't lie... this makes me really, really sad. It's like if the beginning of Supernatural S3 picked up with a different set of hunters. :( But I still love them as writers... so I'll give it a go anyway. But... Royston! *sniff*

I haven't started it yet, but I do have my copy now. I knew there were different characters in this book, Jaida said so somewhere. Maybe on the thremedon lj comm, I don't remember. I really really wanted more story about them!! I think this is more world-building, maybe? Idk, but I'm still excited to read it. I kinda wanna reread Havemercy and write fanfic about Royston & Hal, lol. And the Dragon Corps. Although it feels strange to want to write fanfic based on it, b/c it's almost like fanfic of fanfic, since Jaida is totally just another fangirl. :)

I bought it from Borders because I do have faith in them! It's waiting for me to finish Neverwhere and Temeraire, so it might be a little while, but I'll get there. :) Thanks for the positive tip though! I'm glad you're enjoying it!

Haha, I have a huge stack of books that I want to read but Havemercy skipped to the top. I'm pretty sure Nameless is next on my list, even though I've already read it, but I'm just so excited b/c I have it in an actual book form that I can carry around and stuff. Also, I'm obviously a giant dork. :)
