I'm heading to bed, but a quick list of things first.

1. harriet_vane is going off on a grand adventure and even though I know she's still gonna be just an email away, I'm gonna miss her!

2. Started keeping my cousin's little girl today, which I wasn't supposed to do until the end of July, but things happened. It's gonna take some getting used to.

3. One of our local theaters is going to show Deathly Hallows part 1 before the midnight premier of part 2, and it's a 2d showing (which is what we wanted anyway), and the best part is that tickets for both movies are only $10.50 a person. And it's a Carmike theater, so we have our refillable popcorn bucket. :)

4. No one wants to go see Transformers with me! It's SO SAD!

5. I really, really enjoyed this fic: Recharging by khaleesian. It's a crossover fic for Fast and the Furious and Supernatural, and I LOVE IT. I'm late to actually reading fic for F&F, but if you haven't read it, I suggest adding it to your list.

6. I've read one big bang. ONE. And that's only b/c it was ohohstarryeyed. BBB and SPN/J2 big bangs - anyone have one that they've read that stands out as a good one to start with?

7. My dad is driving me CRAZY. So are my kids. And my brother.

8. Do yall know how difficult it is to move (we moved Pam & Jay from their apartment back into "the Burrow" yesterday) when you have 4 boys, 1 preschool girl, and an infant underfoot?

9. I am down to my last Coca Cola. And I can't buy more until Friday. Idk if I'll make it. :P

10. I hope everyone had an excellent weekend, and I'll try to get caught up tomorrow while me and Illy and Chloe are watching cartoons. :)

Weird story: khaleesian has almost the same username at a glance as a girl I went to high school with, who has had the same LJ SINCE we were in high school. When I scanned the name I went, "Wait, I know Tabby seems to know all my friends, but how the hell would she know P?"

And then I clicked the link and realized that khaleesian =/= kalessan.

how was it? I haven't seen it! My kids decided they didn't want to see it with momma, so they're actually at the movies right now with one of their uncles to see it.

They wouldn't let you come along?! Mean! It's utterly epic! I kinda filled up a journal or two recently with spoilers, so beware of them if you are anti-spoiler! But yes. It's FABULOSO. Way better than 1 and 2 (although I really liked them too). Great music. Great action sequences. A lot of Shia shouting peoples' names in that desperate, agonizing sort of tone. :DDDD Tons of famous people from other stuff (think Firefly, Grey's Anatomy, I think Heroes...) TOTALLY worth seeing!

I loved the first two, and it's not like I expect it to be a GOOD movie, lol. So looking forward to seeing it. I'm sure the boys won't mind going again if I don't sneak away to go with one of my friends. They loved it. It is playing at the drive in next weekend though, so we might hit it then.

A drive-in! *__* Our local drive-in went out of business so I am jealous! There's such a fun atmosphere to the whole experience...down to that funny pot smell in the faaar back. XP

I LOVE the drive-in! We have 3 within driving distance, so my SIL & I usually end up arguing/compromising about which one to go to b/c we have different favorites. But the one I like, kids are free, which is a big plus, and they show two movies. Come visit and we'll go! ;)

3 DRIVE-INS!!! Jealousy! Is it not utterly ironic that when drive-ins get most of their business is in the summer...which happens to be when the sun goes down later and you have to wait even longer for it to be dark enough to see the movies?

(I've always figured we don't have many drive-ins cuz we're Pacific Northest- too much rain. Where you at?)
