why_me_why_notI've reached that stage of crazy where I'm hearing voices and seeing things, which is always fun. Can't even try to sleep without the tv being on (muted) and music playing on my laptop. My mind won't focus on anything for any decent amount of time, jumping around from one thing to another like a demented squirrel on crack. Like, I walked in the kitchen earlier to get a glass of lemonade and ended up making a batch of cookies. Idek. I mean, I know it's my own fault that I've reached this point, so I'm trying not to complain, but really. I hate being crazy and I have my brain and I kinda wish I could be a normal person for once, ever.
Unrelated, it was PTA night at the elementary school, and I love how the parents who complain about the teachers and whose kids do poorly in school NEVER show up to PTA. Your kid isn't going to succeed without your cooperation; the teachers can't do everything. (One of Davey's friend's moms texted me at 5:30 in the morning last Friday to ask for their spelling words b/c Jordan hadn't studied for his spelling test. Really?)
