I'm in a weird mental space right now, and I don't like it. BLAH!
My favorite guy at foodlion marked down a family value pack of stew beef for me. I usually hit the store about the time they do mark downs anyway, but this guy always asks me what I want and marks it down whether it's really supposed to be or not. Anyway, it was a BIG pack. So we had half of it for dinner (baked in the pyrex with onions & peppers & seasonings) with mashed taters, and I threw the rest in the crock pot with a jar of canned tomatoes. I figure if they cook all night on low, sometime mid morning I can throw in some veggies and we can have stew for a couple days.
There are some super cute pics up on my facebook from my nephew Joseph's bday party yesterday. My camera kept getting taken (by Harley, or Jamie, or a kid), so I ended up in far more pics than I'm comfortable with, but they aren't too horrible. And the kids are cute!
Tomorrow night is skate party night for the elementary school and back to school pta night for the middle school, so I have to go pick up my niece (my brother's ex-wife's little girl, she goes to the same elementary school as Davey but she never gets to do any of the fun things because her momma is always too busy or too broke, so I told her she could go with Davey) and then drop her and Davey at the skate party and then take Ronnie to pta (they're feeding us dinner, though, so that part is yay) and mom's going to pick Davey and Rachel up from the skate party and bring them to us at the middle school. Juggling kid stuff is difficult!
