why_me_why_notI know that 89% of my flist has fucked off to tumblr and other places of the internet, but I'm a creature of habit, so I'm still here. And I had a five minute phone session with Sarah today (I got meds from my regular dr, and can't get in to actually see Sarah for a few weeks) and one of the things that was brought up was that I need to be communicating with other people. Which, there are a few people that I email on a regular basis, but I figure I can broaden that by trying to post more here, even if no one is around? So, random things.
1. We (as a family) talked about doing a theme for Halloween this year, and we're already talking about it because even though it's a couple months out, we need time to get things together. We were leaning towards something like the adults being zookeepers or farmers and the kids being animals, or possible a zombified version of that, but the kids decided they wanted to do a Marvel theme. Kristina says Larkin is far too cute for something like that and she'll just be a princess and the rest of us can do what we want. Ugh.
2. Austin Dillon is gonna drive for Tony Stewart this weekend at Michigan! I'm not a Stewart fan, but I can respect him as a driver, and I hate that he was injured and that he's out for the season. But I AM an Austin Dillon fan, so YAY! (Austin Dillon is currently the points leader in the NASCAR Nationwide Series, which is also YAY!)

8. We're getting a new baby tomorrow!
9. I've had a migraine since Sunday night, and I thought earlier today I was feeling better, or better enough to pretend to be a functioning adult, lol, and since the boys were being brats I went to the store alone. Which was totally a mistake. I was only getting a couple things, but still felt like I was gonna die afterward. Ugh.
10. Latest update on Bela: She is off the vent and breathing on her own. She wakes up now, but isn't "there," for lack of a better word. Drs told Bob that if she pulls through, she'll be in the hospital for anywhere between six months and two years. They said her brain is severely injured. She doesn't really respond other than reflexively, but Bob says she looks toward him when he says her name and watches his mouth when he talks.
