I owe swedish15 a drabble, and was given a choice of two prompts. I kinda combined them; hope it works for you. If not, let me know & I'll write you something else. *g* Double drabble. Ron/Pansy, dancing, though not necessarily ballroom, and I did most of the words. Second word has to start with B. Third word with L. 23rd word with O. 32nd word with W. 55th Word with J. 69th word with O. 99th word with B. Didn't work in the bonus.


The bright lights circling the pavilion dimmed. Pansy hesitated before letting Ron take her hand and lead her out onto the floor. Only for a moment. She had already known this was coming, that they would have to dance together in the spotlight tonight, but she was still nervous. Something about this made her jittery. She wasn't worried about how competent a dancer Ron was, because the two of them had danced together under the stars the night he had proposed to her. She wasn't worried about everyone watching, even though she still didn't like the way she blushed when she felt people looking at her, as if they could see right through her to the scars and the scared little girl inside.

No, she was nervous because this made everything feel real. This was the crowning factor, more defining than the vows of their bond, of the ritual kiss in front of their friends and his family -- her family now, too, she had been reminded by all of them at one point or another. From this day on, she was a Weasley. Once, she would have laughed herself sick at the thought. Now she couldn't imagine anything better.

Oh, this is perfect; not only combined you the two prompts, but you also made it somewhat an epilogue to Garden. This makes my inner romantic (this poor fellow in his dark, lonely cell) squeal with joy.
Oh, and loved the idea of realness being scary, 'cause, y'know, it is. And nice with scars and scared. That's a similarity strange enough to be cool.

(As the 47 wasn't for my sake, but rather for that of Alias and Hitman, I don't care about it missing. As for ballroom dancing? As long as the prompt hasn't been filled, I can terrorize poor, idea-searching authors with it. *eg*)
