Fic Rec Time!!!

Crack. *g* Yes, I do realize that I have crack on my to-do list (I'm thinking "Merlin on a Marshmallow!"...) and I'm trying to talk ltlredhairdgirl into writing crack as well. But for now, how about an offering, b/c I'm sure y'all need a good laugh to start your weekend. Supernatural fic, but you don't have to know the characters or the show to appreciate the cracktasticness.

And FYI, I'm a fasten-then-zip kinda person. And left sock, right sock, and whichever shoe is closest, then the other.

Also, I'm working on updating my author/beta resource list. If you have any suggestions for sites that I can include, please tell me.

And if anyone feels up to betaing for me this weekend? I've got a couple things that I'd like to have looked over. maddykitty -- there is one I'd particularly like you to look at if you don't mind, b/c it's your fault I wrote it.

OH!!! I remember!! I'm going to the movies on Sunday afternoon, should be home about 4 my time (Eastern US time)... anyone (or multiple someones?) interested in trying to get together for another multi-fandom yahoo chat sometime that evening?

Haha, just a call from the jail. My... um, friend-with-benefits gets out next weekend. :P

Quite a few of y'all on my flist seem to be bored. I'm sorry! So, how's this:

1. I need some help updating my Author/Beta Resource Page. If you have any links/pages/sites/whatever that you use regularly as an author or a beta, please share them!!

2. I'm still looking for a beta. I have the next chapter of Garden of Sun and Tears, the first half of a two-part puppy fic, and the crack!fic HP/LotR crossover that I still owe irisgirl12000 that need to be beta'd. There's something else, as well, but it's not as important b/c I'm not even sure if I'll share it.

3. Okay, we've all done the memes/surveys/whatevers where you put in you favorite food and your favorite color and what you're wearing. Well, I was in the mood for something a bit different, something that'd actually help me get to know some of you. Or help you get to know me. So I compiled some random questions, pulled from several different places. I've given my answers in the post. If you wanna answer in comments, go ahead. If you want to post this in your own LJ, that's great too. If you wanna answer some of the questions, feel free. Just an exercise in sharing & getting to know each other. And a good way to procrastinate
