So apparently one of our local non-country radio stations was making fun of one of the new country songs this morning, and when someone at work brought it up, I was like "I LOVE THAT SONG!" b/c I'm a loser like that. I love Brad Paisley. I have all his cds and I can't think of a single song that he has that I don't love. One of the things I love about his songs is that some of them are so utterly cracktastic. His new one is a perfect example. You just have to listen to it.

While I'm sharing country music for the three or four people on my flist that listen to country, I wanna give yall my current favorite song. I have a very bad tendancy to worry and stress about things that I have no control over, and this song just makes me think/remember that I don't always have to care about everything.

Once upon a time, I was meant to write a drabble for swedish15 and I couldn't do it, but I did ask the most awesome irisgirl12000 to help me out, b/c she's all intelligent and scientifical. And she did! She wrote Six months on, Criminal Minds, Reid & molecular biology. Go read! And swedish15? I didn't write it but I hope you enjoy it anyways!

There's new Jericho tonight. And new Crossing Jordan on at the same damn time as the new Criminal Minds. But since I've still got the last episode of CM on my computer, unwatched, I'm gonna watch Jordan.

While I'm procrastinating tonight (my friend is crying in my ear about her guy troubles and I hate to say that I don't really care, but she won't shut up so I can't really do anything til I get rid of her), how about I tell you five random facts about me:

1. I have a paperclip on the pocket of nearly every pair of my jeans. I didn't think about this until I watched Jericho tonight, and I was thinking about Dean in SPN (I really gotta start carrying paperclips), but obviously I don't carry them b/c I plan on needing to work my way out of a pair of handcuffs. It started b/c of work, where on a good day you may find me not only with the paperclips, but polybags threaded through my belt loop and rubber bands on my wrists. But yeah, paperclips on my jeans. I'm so cool.

2. I hate to have anything on my feet. I hate shoes & socks and run around barefoot A LOT. I can't have the blankets covering my feet when I'm trying to sleep. But I hate my feet. You know how there's that one body part you just cannot stand about yourself? Yeah, for me that's my feet. Blech.

3. I've been driving since I was 12 and I can't parallel park. In my defense, when I was learning to drive there was no reason for me to know that, b/c you can't exactly parallel park in a field. But now it's kinda a pain in the ass, because where mom lives we don't have off-the-street parking unless you count the backyard, and that's where Jeff (stepdad) has his Scoupe and pickup parked. And unless there's enough room for me to just pull up against the curb from the street, I have to turn around and park across the road by the auto body shop place. Doesn't help that I drive a minivan (which I love, don't get me wrong) that's as big as a tank.

4. I think that every meal should have potatoes. Breakfast, lunch, dinner. Fried potatoes = love.

5. I sometimes write notes to myself during the day so that I remember to write things on my LJ. Except I don't always write complete notes. Sometimes it's a random word or phrase that I think will make me remember, but it doesn't always work, and then I'm staring at the note going "what the hell was that supposed to mean?"
