Jun. 26th, 2007 10:06 pmI'm begging for attention tonight, can you tell? *g*
So, I finally posted my
slashfest fic. Read and lemme know what you think?
Chocolate Draco
Draco's turned chocolate! Can The Boy Who Lived counteract this spell?
Also, overdue prompts: (some of these have been written but were in my notebook & I'm known for being lazy when it comes to typing shit up after I write it out longhand)
swedish15 gave me the following prompt: Two people. An elevator. Which locks up. And out of the boredom, they decide to discuss something. What? Your choice. May be politics. May be sexual tension. May be the fact that elevators are a pretty safe spot.
The first thing I thought of when I read the prompt was "Hmm, Dresden must be around," because modern technology doesn't mix well with wizards like Dresden.
My second thought was about the scene at the beginning of Jackie Collins' Chances, with the NY blackout and Lucky ends up in the elevator with her half-brother (who she doesn't know is her half-brother at the time, of course). I really, really love the Lucky Santangelo stories. I'm kinda sad now, though, because all my Jackie Collins novels are buried somewhere in storage and I can't go read them. Boo.
Then I thought it'd be awesome to have a series of crossover drabbles -- The Elevator Chronicles -- or possibly a crossover where several characters are stuck in the same elevator. But I'm unfortunately not quite that ambitious. Obviously, since it takes me a month to write one drabble. So...
( Actually, the statistical probability of running out of air in an elevator... )
nymphadora17 gave me a prompt that was Dean, Sam, and fairgrounds, or something similar, and I had kinda played around with it in my head, but I figured out what I actually wanted to say earlier this week after something I texted to
anasuede. 200 words.
( young Sam and Dean )
ltlredhairdgirl gave me three prompts. The first one was late night J2 convos @ wafflehouse. Which I didn't/couldn't write, but I have something in mind now. So maybe.
The second was chocolate pudding wrestling. I think she wanted that to be J2 as well, but she didn't specify, and I was feeling bad at the time for neglecting my HP characters, so I wrote puppies instead. 250 words, and I don't think it's Britishly correct b/c of the difference in the whole "pudding" concept, but oh well.
( love me some puppies )
The third was why Dean secretly loves glitter and I texted something rather schmoopy back to her, which probably wasn't her aim (I'm so awesome at taking her prompts and making them into something else entirely *feels guilty*), so I wanna know. What do y'all think is the reason Dean secretly loves glitter?
So, I finally posted my
