The headache that started building Saturday afternoon has been snowballing since then and it's so bad tonight I can't fall asleep and I just wanna lay here and cry. :( I've been in bed for HOURS in the dark and stuff but I CAN'T SLEEP. I did catch a nap earlier, but it wasn't long enough to be sleep. *sigh*
Today (Monday, since it's FOUR O'CLOCK IN THE FUCKING MORNING *cue Bert*) is Amy's first day back at work and Zachary's first day at the center. She's gonna cry. I can't believe it's been eight weeks already. What is this nonsense?
Last week was Fire Safety Week or something, and Ronnie came home and said something about needing to test the smoke detectors. My response was "baby, momma checks the smoke detectors every time she fries bacon." Which is true! I seriously cannot make bacon without setting off the smoke detectors, idek. *fail* And since the kids LOVE bacon, I know the smoke detectors work pretty damn well.
Got a load of stuff out of storage and the kids were helping me sort through it. Davey is the worst because he wants to keep everything in the toy boxes even though they're from when he was like 3. I told him we were only going through the boxes to pull out the matchbox/hot wheels cars and certain other things (duplos, baseballs, etc) but he's a pain in the ass. Ronnie helped me unpack a couple boxes of knick knacks and wanted to hear the story behind each of them, and Haley made me promise to let her come over and go through my pictures and take what she wants out of them. My stuff has been in storage for over 6 years, and my snow globes are intact and have water still in them, and some of the kids' toys STILL WORK. Those are some damn good batteries, lol.
Also, BOOKS!!!! I can't read right now, but my heart gave a happy little flip when I uncovered a few boxes of books today. So excited to be getting my books back. *wants*
Also also, DAVEY FOUND MY RING! My mothers' ring that I thought I lost when we moved, the one with the kids' birthstones in it? I'M SO EXCITED! My brothers were going to get me a replacement for Christmas, but we've checked multiple jewelry stores and no one has one in the same design and I really like it, so I'm glad we found it. It was so weird though!
The Walking Dead was awesome tonight, but that ending was INSANE.
Other peoples' relationships are making my life awkward. Ugh.
Spent all day Saturday at the farm with RT and Kris and Harley and the kids. There are a bunch of pics on facebook. Got lost in the corn maze, but managed to escape. Shot some pumpkins with the pumpkin blaster. Played in the corn pen. Fed some animals. Davey got a busted lip on the bouncing pillow (like a huge trampoline kinda thing, but on the ground). Ate unhealthy yummy deep-fried food. Got lost in the corn maze again. Took a tractor ride to the pumpkin patch to get pumpkins, where the boys had to compete to see who could get the biggest pumpkin. Harley helped them carve them. She's an awesome aunt, but I think she was ready to go back to college after her break because my boys were driving her nuts.
I'm gonna go toss and turn some more. *love and hugs*
