(no subject)

Hey! I've missed you guys! (Idek what is going on in my own life these days, I don't think that's a good thing?)

Anywho. I was gonna make a list of happy things, but I wanted to include pictures and they're all on my laptop which is downstairs in my bedroom and it's too much of an effort to go get it right now. (Ronnie is home sick from school - again - so I'm killing time until I have to take him to the dr.) So! If we're FB friends, there are pics from the stupid wedding up, and there are even a few with me in them (even though I'm making the stupidest faces in them). Later, if I remember, I'll post a few of the kids, b/c I know that's why yall come here. :P Have an abbreviated list for now?

♥ Illiana will be THREE next Monday! We're having her bday party (Scooby Doo themed) at the park this Saturday. I cannot believe she's 3!

♥ asimplechord is telling me the BEST stories via email. :)

♥ asimplechord and junebug_waltz are both indulging me when I want to talk nonsense about the fic I'm not going to write, lol.

♥ asimplechord also posted fic - celebration's impossible -- hockey rpf -- Justin Faulk/always-a-girl!Jeff Skinner -- Five times Jess and Justin didn't celebrate with a kiss, and one time they did. Sort of.

♥ I got a postcard from wendy the other week, b/c she is amazing, and idk if I mentioned it at the time or not. But I'm using the postcard as a bookmark and so every time I open my book, it makes me smile.

♥ If I ever get married (to sonicbookmark, obviously, since we've been talking about it since 2006), my wedding is going to be a fun one, not a boring one like the one I had to suffer through this weekend.

♥ Monkeyface says when he eventually gets married, that HIS wedding is going to be a fun one. And that he's not even thinking about getting married until he's at least 25. (Although, I had to have a talk with him yesterday about WHY WE DON'T LET LITTLE GIRLS KISS US WHEN WE'RE ONLY IN FIFTH GRADE! That child is so much trouble.)

♥ Last night was the Pyramid Concert for the schools (Select kids from all four elementary schools, the middle school choir, and the high school choir groups all participated) and it was a lot of fun and the kids did great - both Davey and Joe were selected to take part in it.

♥ We're working on putting together Easter baskets for the Rescue Mission (they've been averaging between 50 and 60 kids there every night) and we've got twelve baskets full of stuff and everyone keeps texting me telling me they've picked up something else to go in them. :)

♥ We just finished our krispy kreme fundraiser for Relay for Life, and our little team made just over $450 through that, which is awesome! :)
