Mar. 20th, 2013 12:09 am1. Doctor said Ronnie just has that gi virus that's going around (though they did test him for strep, b/c that is also going around & he's had a sore throat), and since it's super contagious, how much you wanna bet the other kid is sick tomorrow or the next day?
2. I am getting a migraine. I know it's b/c I'm PMSing, but ugh. DNW!

4. How the heck do so many people find their way to Roanoke from Pittsburgh? One of the local tv sportscasters is from there, and two of the local radio personalities. And friend!Amy and her family moved here from Pittsburgh when she was like 13, and strangely enough her hubby and his family also moved here from Pittsburgh when he was a teenager. I just... don't get the appeal? I mean, I love the valley, but I don't understand why people choose it as a place to move to?

A Tale of Two Kaners -- Patrick Kane/Jonathan Toews, Abby Sharp/Patrick Sharp, Patrick Kane/Patrick Kane -- It was the best of Kanes, it was the worst of Kanes. (To be clear, this is a story about fifteen-year-old Patrick Kane showing up in the 2013 post season, and then just sticking around while they all hide out in Sharpy's house and everyone has a lot of feelings.)
6. Tuesday wasearlofcardigans's birthday! Well, technically she's still got an hour of birthday left, since she's on TX time and I'm not. But Happy Birthday (again!) and I love your face!
7. Blake Shelton's new album comes out next week and I wish it would hurry up b/c I really like the Sure Be Cool If You Did song and would like to hear the rest of the album, please and thanks.
8. The other day in the car, we were talking about Luke Bryan's new single, Buzzkill, and Davey goes "I'm not a buzzkill, I'm THE BUZZ!" (also, at one point I said something about him being the worst kid, and he was like "WELL YOU'RE MY MOM!" - I never claimed to be a good parent!)
9. I have no NASCAR tickets. NONE. It's sad. :(
10. I do, however, have tickets to see R5 in Richmond next month, because apparently I'm still the only person capable of taking teenagers to concerts? (Seriously, R5? Sometimes I worry about Bela's taste in music. But I think this is a second choice concert for her, b/c the closest Paramore dates to us were sold out, which kinda sucks b/c she's been asking me to take her to see Paramore for YEARS. On the other hand, she has like three sets of parents, idk why I'm the one taking her to concerts!)
