I'm not sure why, but I really really like that quote.

Today is my Ronnie's bday. He's 6. I feel old. Tonight we went to watch Haley's Christmas program at school, and Ronnie's is in 2 weeks. I still can't get over the fact the two of them are in kindergarten. They're all growing up way too fast!!

We're on mandatory overtime at work, working ten hour days during the week and a full day on Saturday for the next two weeks. Fun fun. Actually, I like my job (though I'd like it even better if I didn't have to deal with my coworkers), and the money will definitely be nice, but it cuts into my kid time and my me time, y'know? But I guess I'll get over it.

Yay! I have these puzzle books at work and I like to do the cryptoquotes but most of the time the quotations suck. I'm glad I stumbled upon this one.

I'm trying to take care of myself. We had my niece's birthday party last weekend (she's 5 days older than Ronnie) and we had a fantastic time; for Ronnie's birthday party we're going to go to the movies to see Happy Feet and then come back here for pizza and cake (a penguin-themed ice cream cake that I'm gonna make; I'll post pictures) and presents. We're definitely looking forward to it.
