Happy February 9th! Hope everyone had a great Friday and is ready for the weekend!
Song for today: My Valentine by Martina McBride
mizbean: H/D = OTP! *g* I loved your personal canon for H/D. It's like a condensed version of their life story and I could happily believe it all happens just like that. I hope that RL isn't being too rough on you and that you're not completely frozen from all this crazy weather. *big hugs*
moonkittenluna: Miss Luna, every time I think of you, I see you curled up underneath someone's bed, all comfy cozy and such. I love your mile-long posts and reading about your RL updates, even though I don't comment. I know our fandom interests seem to have branched out in different directions, but I'm so glad you're still around.
morriganangelus: You love SPN, you like HP, you love animals (I thought I was the only one in the world watching the Puppy Bowl last weekend!), what better qualities could I ask for in a friend? Since we first friended each other, you've always been so open and... well, friendly. I'm so glad to have you around, and I look forward to squeeing with you for the rest of SPN S2, then sitting back and watching the HP wank begin. I'll bring the drinks, yeah?
mya_in_ab: I love hanging around your LJ. Your posts are always so bouncy and full of life and your love of it. And the way you flat-out rant when you don't love it. And the abundance of super quotes! I'm hoping school is going well for you. *hugs*
nekare: For some reason, i remember you being kinda quiet and shy once upon a time, but if that is true and not just my defective memory, it's not true anymore. *g* I love the fact that you're multi-fandom and proud of it. You balance them so well, which is amazing considering your RL is kinda busy and you also write original stuff. In two languages! I'm always impressed by your writing because you always end up with this perfect, poetic flow of imagery that makes me adore you even more. *loves*
nightchik: wincest! YAY! Or some variation thereof. If i remember correctly, yall put that on the window of your car when you drove to wincon. I loved meeting you there, and getting to know you there and around the intrawebs. You should definitely come chat with us on Y!M more often. We're lots of fun.
notthequiettype: Oh, Ash, what do I want to say to you? One of my favorite things about being friends with de is that she introduces me to amazing people like you. I feel so lucky and amazed that you just kinda... became my friend just because we're both friends with de. I love that you put up with me when I'm on crack, on LJ and in chat and when I send out crazy txt messages. Sammamish. I like that you encourage me to write wee!winchesters, b/c I love them a whole lot. I love the way you write, not just the words/fics themselves, but the enthusiasm and love that you put into it. I'm so so glad to have you as a friend and I can't wait to meet you in real life!
nasus221: Susan! My newest friend! Told you I'd fit you in here! *g* You would've gone in this post anyway, alphabetically, but it also just seems right to have you here next to Ash since she introduced us. From what I can tell, you are so cracktastically awesome, there is no way not to love you. And now you're encouraging me in silly endeavors in another post so I think I love you even more.
How about some Dean and Sam?
Dean wasn't in the room when Sam woke up, but that wasn't surprising. Sam figured he was on a coffee run. Sam sat up and stretched, noticing a large red box sitting on the bedside table. "TO: SAM" was written on the top of the box in black Sharpie. Sam groaned. Nothing with Dean was ever straightforward, and Valentine's Day chocolates were definitely on the list of things to be wary of. Sam was certain the gift was more a smartass gesture than something to lighten the tense mood of the last few weeks. Now he just had to decide if Dean was being Dean and trying to imply that Sam was somehow the girl in this relationship or if this was some sort of prank. Either way, their day was definitely going to be interesting.
Recipe for today is a very easy one.
Strawberry and Cream Cheese Fudge Brownies
1 box chewy fudge brownie mix or dark chocolate fudge brownie mix
1 container cream cheese frosting
1/4 to 1/2 cup seedless strawberry jam (works best in squeezable container)
Prepare and back brownies according to package directions. Spread frosting generously on cooled brownies. Spread strawberry jam in a zigzag pattern on top of frosting. For decorative effect, run a knife through the jam in opposite directions.

Date: 2007-02-10 05:01 am (UTC)Lol -- until this comment I was thinking that there actually were chocolates inside the box. but you never know with dean. maybe it's a fake snake or something in there. or a real snake. Or maybe it's just full of condoms.

Sam may be too suspicious. Or he may be right on the money. I dunno. I'm glad you love the way I write the boys though; that makes me very happy! And makes them more talkative too!

Date: 2007-02-10 03:10 pm (UTC)We're trying to keep warm. It's still only 1 degree last I checked, but at least it's the weekend, and I don't really have to go outside if I don't want to.

Date: 2007-02-10 07:12 pm (UTC)Have you tried each of the recipe's you're posting? Todays sounds a bit shifty...how could one ever bring themselves to pollute the perfection that is a pan of brownies?
