The wonderful wendy is challenging everyone to post a list of Five Things to be Thankful for. Of course, her challenge was issued way early this morning and it's way late. But still, here's my list:

Five Things
1. warm blankets fresh out of the dryer
2. cracktastic friends that call me on my lunch break. for no reason. from two cars over in the parking lot.
3. i get my tax refund check next week
4. brothers. like, my real brothers who do things for me and buy me valentines gifts and say they're from my boys
5. the ice that we were supposed to get tonight looks like it's gonna miss us

What about yall?

I have fic. And it's been okayed by a few of my specialest friends, so maybe it'll get posted tonight, after I put up the valentines post. There was something else I wanted to say but I cannot remember what it was. Oh well. LOVE YALL!!

When I lived in Blacksburg (when my ex & i were together, and then I lived with his aunt for awhile), we had Tasteful Treasures partys twice a year. Until the whole naked-in-the-pool fiasco, after which we were only allowed to have parties when it wasn't warm enough for swimming. Now we switch off having them (me and several of my friends). They're all kinds of fun.

Poke cake! It's chocolate cake with holes poked in it with pudding on top. The pudding seeps into the holes and makes the cake all nice and gooey.
And now I want some more!
