Has someone written Sam & Dean vs. Veelas? Because I think I'd like to read that. Because you know Dean has a hard enough time not getting distracted by the shiny pretty girls, and Sam is probably impervious to their charms like he is everything else. But yeah, if anyone's seen that, link me? I don't wanna have to write it myself.
So, we took all the kids to see TMNT. I'll put my few quick thoughts under a cut.
It was actually better than I had expected it to be. I was afraid it was going to ruin all my childhood memories, but it didn't. The animation was good; it was a bit like watching a vidio game. I didn't expect Casey to be there, so that was kinda cool. And I so love the turtles. Harley and I were sitting beside each other, which is such a bad idea because we were whispering back and forth the whole time. There was a monster on there that looked like an experiment from Lilo & Stitch. And there was a part where they couldn't tell if this guy was dead or not and they poked him with a stick! and Harley & I busted out laughing. We decided that when the Winchesters played TMNT (and they so did -- Sam's the same age as one of my brothers so he would've been the perfect age when TMNT came out back then), Sam was Donatello. Because he's a geek and all into his research and knows the most random stuff about everything. Encyclopedia of Weird, anyone? We couldn't decide about Dean, because he always likes to think he's in charge (like Leonardo), a lot the time he's got this smart-ass, cocky attitude (like Raphael), but he also has this nonchalant, laugh about everything attitude (like Michaelangelo). But of course, we all know Dean is good, so he probably played all three of them at one time.
Why do I go to a kids' movie and spend most of the time thinking about how everything relates back to Dean and Sam?
Anywho, I'm gonna go back outside and sit in the front yard for a while. I think my brother's gonna come back over and we're gonna take my boys fishing for a bit. I'll be back online later, but feel free to txt me or call me if you're bored. Love yall!!

Date: 2007-03-25 10:38 pm (UTC)Ah, the turtles did wonderfully in the box office. So many people went to see it to re-live their childhood! Unfortunately, it wasn't too big where I came from, or I was just too immersed in Transformers to notice if it was. ;)
Glad you had fun!! :D
