Speaking of House points, there was an h/d fic recced this weekend that I read and find to be amazing. You should check it out. Lamp in a Cooling Room by sansa1970. Draco and Harry become snared in a trap, but they're not alone. Love guides our path for reasons we can't always understand. Seriously, this made my heart ache in such a beautiful way and I love it. I think it was on my to-be-read list (it's from the Hd_worldcup) so I hate that I didn't read it sooner.

Also? pixel_0 wrote a little slice of J2 perfection. I'm pretty sure it's flocked, though. If you're on her friends list, go read it. It is seriously amazing.

Kelly Marie died 9 years ago today. That makes me feel old. We took her flowers & whatnot this afternoon, which is why we were in Blacksburg & counting hokie birds. Now, I'm off to make chili and clean house. So unfun. Love yall!! <3

Virginia Tech = the Hokies. The Hokie Bird is their mascot, and all around Blacksburg there are various Hokie Birds in different clothes. (the cemetery where Kelly Marie is buried is only a few blocks away from VT's campus)

I meant to text/call you more, but the crowd surge was SO RIDICULOUS that once my phone was in my pocket, I couldn't reach down to get it out.

Gabe sounds rough. Seriously. I ♥ Ryland and Alex, though. Especially Ryland, who hugged me (I totally wasn't even touching him, didn't even have a camera out for a picture b/c I have photo issues) and gushed when I asked him to sign the liner from the This Is Ivy League CD instead of Cobra merch.


ETA: Also, the whole time Sing It Loud were on, the only thing I could think of was the Very Gay Conversation that notthequiettype overheard between their singer and Singer during the LHDC tour. Then the guy I was with leaned over and said, "They are so gay." I might've snorted my drink. Possibly.
