I really need to not be online for the next few days. I've got job search requirements to fill, plus my telecommunicator testing on Friday, and my actual certification testing (eep!) on Saturday that I need to study for, and Thursday we're going to that concert in Richmond so that's like half a day (at least) gone right there. But the internet is so darned distracting!

I've got a million things I want to post about (I know, yall are tired of seeing my name come up on your flist, sorry!!) but I'm trying to be RESPONSIBLE and get other stuff done first. But I read this fic this morning and I really HAVE TO share.

Summary: Percy Weasley must tread a darker road than anyone knows when he gets out of school and begins his life. Not everything is as it seems.

I don't even know where to start with this. I don't usually like Percy, but I do like it when authors explore his character a bit because he actually isn't that fleshed out in canon and we only see him through Harry's eyes. This is just such an excellent exploration of what could have been; I cannot believe gelsey made me cry over Percy while still staying true to canon. Plus, Oliver Wood is always a welcome addition. Yes, I'm totally in love with Wood, what of it? *g* Anyway, this is an excellent little read, and I highly suggest it to everyone, whether you're actually in HP fandom or not. And, as always, be sure to leave a little note for the author letting her know what you think. :)
