ProjectMMH.org is a website that serves as a resource for information about the Meet Me Halfway project and the issue of foster youth who "age out" of the foster care system and face serious life problems such as homelessness and poverty. ProjectMMH.org also organizes the Meet Me Halfway Street Teams, a national network of volunteers who work in local communities to raise awareness of Project Meet Me Halfway. Currently, Jimmy Wayne and Project Meet Me Halfway are exploring the idea of building a facility for aged-out foster youth and homeless youth. The project is only in the conceptual stage now, but many volunteers with many different skills will be needed. Would you be willing to share your skills to help build a youth facility? You can learn more or sign up to help here.
