THINGS I HAVE DONE THIS WEEK:

Got our power restored (not that I had anything to do with that, lol)
Got our pool cleaned out and refilled
GOT A NEW BABY!!!!
Went to opening night of the Salem Fair with my boys and had a great time
Wrote fic (apparently I still know how to write! even if it is something only exsequar will read!)
Saw the new spiderman movie with Jay and the boys (in my head, I kept thinking of it as "that movie with Jesse Eisenberg's boyfriend and girlfriend)
Took my aunt to the doctor in Staunton (which is like an hour and a half away, but is way closer to her house. only, she can't stay at her house because she has no power and no water and a broken leg, so she's staying at my dad's)
Had an awesome conversation with altiloquent's girlfriend (and watched Goon on her recommendation)

THINGS I HAVE NOT DONE THIS WEEK:

Updated on LJ to let yall know I was okay after the storm-post last Friday. (oops!)
Commented on liketheroad's hockey!fic, which is what I was doing on Friday when the power went out (it deserved a real comment; it required thought!)
Met up with gelsey while she's in VA. *sigh* Next time!
Read the awesomeness that jmc_books left in my inbox
Slept well
Cleaned my bedroom
Responded to emails/texts/tweets/comments consistently (we just got internet back yesterday, and my phone is being a douche this week)

Next time I'll try not to have a derecho produce a huge power outage, and I definitely won't be having a baby, so there's the biggest parts of the problem out of the way?
