why_me_why_notGot off work early. Again. Five people got laid off yesterday. I'm still being crosstrained to work in two departments other than my own, so I'm not (too) worried about my job at the moment. But I got off early & couldn't find anyone to go out & get a drink with me. So, instead I took the boys to get ice cream after I picked them up from Grandma's. Well, we went to Ruby Tuesday's, but it was for ice cream. Tinsley wasn't working but she was there. As was Zane -- oma, that boy has not right to be so adorable! Not for a couple more years! He had stopped by b/c his sister was working the bar and he ended up sitting w/ me and the boys (we weren't sitting at the same table as the rest of the work-here-but-not-on-the-clock crew b/c they were right behind the kitchen & the boys & I like the big table in the corner) and the brat ate like half my strawberry tallcake! And he tried to invite himself out with us on Thursday night -- I told him he can't go b/c he's not legal! but he was like "you guys took me out before". Um, yeah, b/c I didn't realize before that you're only a baby! He thinks its funny that I get so freaked out about this.
Also, there's apparently some new staff since the last time I went -- I can't even begin to imagine what they were thinking, especially with the looks they kept giving us all. And the poor customers -- I think everyone forgets that there are actually sometimes real customers in the smoking section. John was working the front dining room & kept coming by and stealing bites of the boys' ice cream and stuff. He is such a goober. My boys love him to death.
But yeah, so that was my night. *g* I've been writing all frickin weekend so I may share some of it over the next couple days. We shall see. Right now, I need to go make my votes for the OWL Awards...

And he kept sneaking up on them -- he was on a smoke break when we got there & on the way back in he stood at the window for several minutes waiting for the boys to turn around and see him. of course, they laugh-screamed & hid under the table when they did. The only problem with taking the boys to Ruby Tuesdays is that now they'll go tell my mom & my brothers & everyone about "that man that's mommy's friend"

8,600+ words...I only need to write a mini-epilogue, perhaps 200-300 words.
Problem is, I think I need a sequel. What was I thinking: that they would stop arguing once they start kissing? *headdesk*
There are just too many emotional loose ends. Draco's insecure. Harry's insecure. Harry's jealous like mad. Draco's socially dysfunctional and has to re-learn how to connect with people. Ermmm....
