Aug. 10th, 2010 08:55 pmI know what I was gonna say yesterday and forgot! Did yall see the video of The Used that Jepha posted the other day? (here's the link if you need it) If you ignore what they're actually doing in the video (BOYS!), they look so good. Like, happy and healthy good! I'm am ridiculously pleased by that!

Andrew didn't get fired today; instead it was decided that he's getting moved to Collections. He's walking a really fine line though, which sucks because all the time he's missed is because of his mom and he doesn't qualify for FMLA because he hasn't been there long enough. So, last night his mom's heart monitor kept going off and he spent most of the night / early hours of the morning at the ER with her, but they couldn't find anything wrong with her heart and couldn't figure out why she was having chest pains / symptoms of a heart attack. He left her there and came to work (late) but then the hospital called and said they needed Andrew's authorization for something. Long story short - his mom's cancer has spread and things don't look good for her at all. So Andrew's upset and crying at work, and if he leaves he'll lose his job, and it made me all upset. And I was in the hallway on my cell phone when he came to find me and tell me, and there wasn't anyone else around from our team, so I had to hug him. (okay, yall know how I feel about physical affection. Like, I'll throw virtual hugs and snuggles around all day long, but I don't like people to actually touch me. Last week, when Andrew came back to work after his grandfather passed away, I made Heather hug him for me.) So it made the rest of my day all blah, even after some strings were pulled and Andrew left.
In other work-related news, we were talking about vampires today (idek) and Thomas Raith is my favorite vampire, and now I want someone to tell me stories about Thomas and Justine. Or maybe Billy and Georgia. What? That line of thought made sense in my head!
Gotta go make cupcakes. Hopefully will get more computer time later. *mwah*
