Everyone has things they blog about. Everyone has things they don't blog about. Challenge me out of my comfort zone by telling me something I don't blog about, but you'd like to hear about, and I'll write a post or comment about it. Ask for anything: latest movie watched, last book read, religious leanings, thoughts on yaoi, favorite type of underwear, graphic techniques, hairstyles, sports, etc.
:)
p.s. HAPPY FRIDAY!

Date: 2009-06-01 02:23 am (UTC)I think that it's kinda hard to classify most American's perceptions as being the same/similar, just because we are so vastly different. I mean, I do believe that in general Americans are very self-centered, we focus on America and don't tend to notice what's going outside of our own country. We are a very me-oriented, entitlest society as a whole. I don't think religion has a lot to do with that. I do think that some Americans see the rest of the world as inferior rather than just different. Personally, I know that a lot of people in this area (the valley where I live) don't have much opinion of people or events outside of us. This is our lives; anything that doesn't directly influence us isn't our concern.
I'm quite obviously not good at thinky thoughts, sorry. Apparently there's a reason I don't blog about these things.
